Dunchick's Dock

Dunchick's Dock is a not for profit seafood co-op that I co-founded with my dad during the 2020 pandemic. What started as a small group of friends and family trying to help our local fishermen turned into a mission-driven community that served a much greater purpose - we became a core end market for the fishermen while restaurants and seafood markets were closed during the pandemic, and we instituted a monthly membership fee to all customers, with proceeds going to the Montauk and East Hampton Springs food pantries. We also produced some cool swag along the way!

John Aldridge and Anthony Sosinski, on the Anna Mary, their fishing boat. John fell off this boat in 2013 and survived 12 hours until he was rescued.
John Aldridge, my friend who I met during Paddlers for Humanity paddles starting in 2013. He is also the Montauk fisherman who fell overboard in 2013 and co-authored A Speck in the Sea, his account of being lost in the Atlantic for more than 12 hours. We bought seafood from him and his mate Anthony and other fishermen starting during the pandemic. This is how Dunchick’s Dock began
